Undergraduate scholarships for Pakistani students: routes and requirements
Plan a first degree abroad around your qualification, nomination requirements and the costs the award actually covers. A scholarship deadline may be only the final stage of a longer process.
Pakistani undergraduate applicants can research international university awards and applicable government routes, but admission and funding often require different steps. Pearson needs school nomination; Berea assesses international admission and aid together; Oxford funding follows an earlier admission application. Check the stage you can still complete.
Next step: Choose your qualification and application stage, then compare the route, coverage and dated status below.

Compare routes before collecting application forms
This page focuses on study abroad. If you intend to study in Pakistan, use the domestic guide instead. International eligibility does not remove the university’s qualification, subject, English or nomination requirements.

Pearson: a remaining deadline can have expired prerequisites
The published 2027 entry sequence gives school nomination by 9 October 2026, the required university admission application by 16 October and the scholarship form by 6 November. On 28 October, a new applicant who missed the earlier steps should not assume that the last date creates a fresh opportunity.
Already-nominated applicants should check their actual invitation, programme selection and submission requirements. A school nomination is a prerequisite, not a scholarship award. Review the university’s exact student-profile rules and funding conditions.
Berea: substantial support still needs a cash plan
Berea’s international guidance describes combined support for listed educational and living costs, but also explains a deposit and personal-cost expectations. Its cited USD 2,200 deposit has an assistance process for those unable to pay. Read that process rather than describing the route as requiring no money at any stage.
Follow the current English-score and document checklist. Berea also sets its own rules on outside assistance with the personal essay: the applicant must comply with those instructions. A general scholarship writing template is not permission to have another person or AI write an application essay.
Oxford: admission and funding do not share one deadline
Oxford’s 2027 undergraduate funding instructions describe a January scholarship stage. Admission has an earlier sequence. Someone who has not completed the required admission application cannot treat a later funding date as a reopened course application.
Open the particular award, check Pakistan’s inclusion and any residence, financial-need, subject and first-degree restrictions. Do not combine several Oxford awards into one guaranteed fully funded package.
FSc, A levels and entry tests: keep requirements specific
Universities decide how they assess a Pakistani school qualification and the subjects required for a course. A grade threshold from one institution is not a universal percentage for foreign scholarships. Record the qualification, subject prerequisites and graduation timing for each actual programme.
HEC’s applicable foreign-funded routes can use USAT for undergraduate selection; other institutions use their own admission process. Do not label every overseas scholarship as requiring USAT, SAT or one English test. Use the current owner and programme instructions.
Full-cost, full-tuition and partial support mean different things
Full tuition describes university fees, not automatically rent, food, travel, insurance, tests or a visa. A living allowance may be paid only after enrolment. Record the benefit and its start date, then identify what your household must finance before arrival.

Two applicants, two useful next steps
Applicant A is a fictional FSc student starting research after Pearson’s nomination deadline. Their next step is not to rush an ineligible late form; it is to check still-usable verified routes and prepare a realistic admission and testing calendar.
Applicant B was nominated and completed the required Toronto admission stage on time. Their next step is to follow the actual scholarship invitation and final form deadline. The visible November date has different meaning for these two students.
Your application record
Save a small record for each route: owner, course, entry qualification, nomination, admission, scholarship form, tests, coverage and funding gap. Keep references and school documents ready early, but follow each programme’s own essay and outside-assistance rules.
