Undergraduate admission scholarships
Sabancı’s international scholarship page says eligible applicants are considered automatically, including those who leave the optional scholarship section blank. The committee considers academic evidence, and a given exam score does not guarantee a particular scholarship.
Organise your evidence by what it proves: school performance, subject preparation and independently verifiable achievements. An award certificate without context tells less than the result, competition level and your own contribution. Keep optional material relevant to the degree rather than uploading a large unsorted portfolio.
2026/27 undergraduate tuition and a net-fee example
The international undergraduate fee page lists USD 36,500 annually for 2026/27, with tuition-waiver options including 25%, 40%, 50%, 60% and 75%. Accommodation awards are a separate coverage question.
Illustrative calculation using that published fee: a confirmed 50% tuition waiver would leave USD 18,250 of annual tuition before other charges. This demonstrates the calculation; it is not an award prediction. Your issued offer decides the actual amount.
Academic graduate funding: read the category and months
The university’s 2026/27 graduate page separates full, project and tuition-waiver support, alongside other named awards. Professional graduate programmes are excepted from its general academic-funding statement.
For the full-scholarship category, the published master’s stipend is TRY 43,500 for 10 months; the doctorate category lists TRY 67,500 for 12 months. These are specific categories, not a promise to every admitted student. Read room availability and other benefit conditions in the official table.
Build a graduate plan around supervisor or research fit, the programme’s document list and the category actually offered. A higher listed maximum in a different scholarship is not evidence of what your department will award.
Use the official admissions route for your degree. For a bachelor’s application, match your qualification to the published accepted exam/diploma list. For a research degree, follow the chosen graduate programme’s requirements and identify the work you want to pursue.
Keep a document inventory with the issue date, translation status and portal destination. If you are completing a qualification, confirm whether interim results are accepted and when the final document is due. The 2026/27 fee table does not itself announce a 2027 application deadline.

Evaluate the actual campus location in Tuzla when comparing a room elsewhere in Istanbul. A lower rent can be offset by daily travel cost and time, particularly if your timetable finishes late.
Ask for the covered room type, occupied months, summer arrangements and deposit treatment. If the award includes a room, confirm whether you must apply through a separate housing system. If it does not, request a current quote rather than assuming a graduate benefit is shared by undergraduate students.
Use the award letter as a checklist of real commitments. A practical comparison is the cost left after funding, plus the evidence that each benefit will be available when needed.
