Admission and scholarship dates at a glance
Admission and scholarship dates rechecked 13 October 2026 on the named Padua and Polimi pages. This remains a selected tracker, not a national calendar. Polimi's Engineering heading still differs from its September 2027 table rows; confirm the programme with admissions before relying on that route.
On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to compare all columns.

Do not use a university-wide date without the programme call
Architecture, engineering, design, medicine and limited-enrolment courses can follow different calendars. The date for one English-taught master's degree may not apply to another department at the same university.
Record the degree title, level, campus, applicant category, application portal, opening date, closing time and time zone. Save the official call or programme page used for the entry.
A practical 2027 application calendar
From September to December 2026, prioritise programmes with early calls, language evidence and scholarship-linked admission windows. From January to March 2027, complete later calls and prepare Universitaly and visa documents after admission.
Non-EU applicants living outside Italy should avoid relying on late rounds that may be limited to EU applicants or people already resident in Italy. Earlier submission also leaves more time for qualification recognition and visa preparation.
- September–October 2026: shortlist and prepare documents
- October–December 2026: submit early university and scholarship applications
- January–March 2027: use eligible later calls
- After admission: complete Universitaly pre-enrolment
- Before travel: finish visa and accommodation planning
Separate four types of deadline
A strong tracker has separate rows for university admission, scholarship or fee support, Universitaly pre-enrolment and the visa. Combining them into one date creates missed steps.
Also record document deadlines. A language certificate, portfolio, test, CIMEA statement or financial record may be due before final enrolment even when the initial application accepts a temporary document.

- Application fee payment
- Language or test evidence
- Scholarship application
- Universitaly pre-enrolment
- Visa submission
- Final enrolment and original documents
How to verify a deadline in five minutes
Open the official programme page, locate the current academic year and identify your applicant category. Confirm whether the displayed time uses CET or CEST, then check whether payment and document upload must also finish before the same cut-off.
Recheck the page one week before submission and again on the day you apply. Keep the confirmation email and a copy of the submitted file.
Weekly tracker template
Review the tracker once a week. Mark each record as researching, preparing, submitted, decision received or closed. Add the last-checked date and the official URL instead of relying on a remembered date.

- Degree level and teaching language
- Applicant category

Move from a national timeline to the correct university route
Use the national timeline to plan, but save the exact degree page, applicant category, portal opening and final submission time for every choice. University calls and Universitaly pre-enrolment are separate steps, so one completed portal does not automatically complete the other.
