Tests, transcripts and references are separate tasks
The reviewed call requires GRE General, with a stated minimum of 145 in each of the two scored sections and a stronger relevant-section score. Its package includes three references, a GRE report and transcripts with the grading-scale explanation. Selected candidates take TOEFL. The call allows issuing-authority-attested degree/transcript evidence at application, while preferring HEC attestation. Read the complete eligibility and exclusion list, including nationality/residence conditions, directly on USEFP.
Create a private submission folder with separate files for academic history, tests, referees and essay evidence. Label files by document and version rather than using names such as final-final. Record whether a requirement is ready, requested or blocked. This is an organisation method, not a substitute for the next application’s upload instructions.
Start with a concrete academic or public problem you want to understand. Identify an experience that made the problem visible, what you did, the limitation you encountered and the training you need. A statement that merely praises the United States or asks for funding does not establish that connection.
A useful planning row contains: problem, your action, observable result, lesson, proposed study and intended contribution. If you cannot support a result, describe the work honestly without invented numbers. Where a goal depends on an institution or employer, explain the first feasible step rather than promising a national transformation.
Teaching example
Illustrative evidence note, not an application answer
During a course project, I compared two low-cost sensing approaches and found that the noisier measurements limited the conclusion. My next training need is stronger experimental design and signal analysis. I should now identify the actual work I completed and the relevant study direction before turning this note into an essay.
Fictional teaching example. Replace it with your own experience and follow the current prompt.
Choose a referee who can evaluate the evidence
Ask people who observed your work and can explain its quality. Share a short evidence sheet, your study direction and the submission deadline. Agree their availability before entering contact details in a portal. A famous name with no knowledge of your work may produce a less useful letter than a direct supervisor.
The USEFP FAQ explains that placement is handled by experienced placement professionals; personal university preferences are not the same as a guaranteed destination. It also clarifies degree-stage and test questions. Check its current wording when your circumstances do not fit a simple checklist.
Choose tasks that remain useful even if the next call changes. An accurate transcript, a realistic study rationale and referees who know your work are more durable than an essay written for an old prompt.
